This course provides IT Security Professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to implement security controls, maintain an organization’s security posture, and identify and remediate security vulnerabilities. This course includes security for identity and access, platform protection, data and applications, and security operations.

This course is ideal for systems administrators and security engineers who are responsible for the secure deployment and management of cloud solutions, as well as architects and developers who need to understand security requirements for authentication, authorization, and auditing of services used in cloud-based solutions.

• Security best practices and industry security requirements such as defense in-depth, least privileged access, role-based access control, multi-factor authentication, shared responsibility, and zero trust model
• Be familiar with security protocols such as Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Internet Security Protocol (IPSec), Secure Socket Layer (SSL), disk and data encryption methods
• Have some experience deploying Azure workloads. This course does not cover the basics of Azure administration, instead the course content builds on that knowledge by adding security specific information
• Have experience with Windows and Linux operating systems and scripting languages.

📌 Course objectives
This course will enable learners to understand Microsoft Azure security components and capabilities, such as Security Center, Monitor, Key Vault, and Log Analytics, and how to integrate on-premises environments with Azure for maximum security. Attendees will Learn about Azure AD identity and access management features, such as identity protection and access reviews as well as how to configure network security, role-based access control, and advanced threat protection. They will gain the skills and knowledge to secure data in Azure, including data storage, data encryption, rights management, and data classification. Also they will develop skills in implementing and managing identity, access, privacy, and security solutions on Azure, and an understanding of how to protect your applications using Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Application Security Groups.
