Dr Alistair Cockburn – Let’s dive into the heart of Agile

Some people claim that Agile has become overly complicated. So, maybe it’s time to streamline it, and get back to its roots. You couldn’t find a more competent person for that from Dr Alistair Cockburn, a co-author of the Agile Manifesto! That is why we invited him to join us on the EPIC stage on the 2nd Agile Serbia Conference.

In his keynote speech, Dr Alistair Cockburn will show the simplicity and effectiveness of Agile when we centre to its essence, its “heart”. This includes topics that are at the state of the practice in today’s world, but simple enough even for beginners to practice immediately. The heart of Agile is conveyed in four words: Collaborate, Deliver, Reflect, Improve. You can start practicing them before the 2nd Agile Serbia Conference! :)

Cockburn has been voted as one of the “All-time top 150 i-Technology Heroes” for his work in creating and steering Agile Software Development. He is a signatory of Agile Manifesto and the “Declaration of Interdependence”, a co-founder of the Agile Project Leadership Network, and a co-founder of the International Consortium of Agile. Three of his books have won Jolt awards and been listed in the “Top 100 best software books of all time”.

He consistently receives high ratings for his presentations and courses, and we are sure you’ll enjoy it, too! Don’t miss to hear the speech of this great scientist!
